Carved Unity Candle

Candlefun technique is where the candles are placed on a carving rack that you can flip over and make the cuts in different directions. The core candle has a long plastic tube in the middle where you put the candle oil. It's just so much easier to carve. He even has cd's that shows you have to do this. I love it! Thank you!!

Is that the silver metalic pigment ? The candle is beautiful. I also have the Candlefun system and I love it. I'm finishing up inventory for a 10 day festival that starts this Friday so keep your fingers crossed for me that they sell well.

How long have you been carving? You do a vey nice job.

Thanks so much Nancy. Actually, it's gold metallic dip with a dip in black to make a mocha brown color. I have been carving the candlefun way for about a year mostly unity candles. I taught myself about 6 years ago by surfing the web and watching people make them at craft fairs, etc. I was just fascinated with it and was determined to learn it.

I know you will do great at festival. Are you going to carve there also? Best of luck!! Enjoy!

I am  new today however I am starting Candle Carving. What do you use for dipping vats? How do you heat them? Thanks for any advice

Try asking in the general candle section. I know there are a few chandlers here who know a little about candle carving and can help you with that. :)
