ladysj
I'm going to start experimenting with these next week and was wondering if someone would mind giving me a wick type as a starting point. About the only ones that I have for smaller containers are LX & CD's. Would any of these work?TIA
Country Crafter
Hi Sandra, it does depend upon the flute they are pretty narrow and as gel burns hot and a layer should remain during the burn as an insulator we use an LX. Depending upon the scent and colourant either an 8 or 10 works for us.As well I prefer the Libby flutes, they seem to be thicker than some of the other ones out there.HTHWendy

Lynx
I agree about the Libby. I used a set of glasses that weren't and they cracked as soon as I lit the candles. Lynx
DebbieTX
I used to make tons of these. I used 1 ivory chip to 1 lb of gel wicked with a 51Z wick in libby champagne glasses that I got at wal-mart. I also used the Champagne fragrance from BCN that is in their GelAromas line. The other one that they carry for paraffin didn't smell anything like champagne.
