AnjieBurdett
Hi there. A lady on another forum was asking whether she can use gel wax as a 'glaze' on a soy wax pie crust with soy wax fruit embeds in. Is it ok to use gel wax with soy? Thanks in advance for any advice.Anjie,x.
Luci
I've done something similar to this with no problems. Just make sure that the fo is gel compatible.

AnjieBurdett
Thank you for your replies you are all soo helpful BUT .... I have another question :embarasse If this lady was to make tarts, with a soy base and the gel as a glaze on the soy fruit. The gel would be unscented, just coloured - the soy base WOULD be scented, does she still have to use fo suitable for gel even though its not in the gel itself. And is it safe to have gel on a tart that is going in a tart warmer even though the majority is soy? I couldn't answer this question for her as I have never heard of gel on soy tarts, but i'm not into gel. Thank you for any answers.Anjie,x.
