Vicky_CO
First thing is you need to research gel wax.Gel comes in a solid form and needs to be melted just like any other was does. There are some major things that you should and should not ever do in gel go to the old archive and read all the posts there. When I get to my shop I will post some links you need to read. sharyl55
Here are a couple of links that may help. I read every post on the old gel board. Everything on these links. Printed out everything on the gel candle making site and country creek crafts. And as a newbie, I read my gel notebook everytime before I start making a gel candle. Safety is a real concern when making gel candles. http://www.gelcandlemaking.com/http://www.countrycreekcrafts.com/id49.htmhttp://www.candletech.com/cgi-local/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=gel;action=display;num=1065416589;start=1#1Sure Vicky will have more info for you. All I can say is it is a LOT harder than it looks. Maybe in 10 or 20 years I'll have the technique down but right now every candle is a challenge. Vicky_CO
Sharyl that was pretty much what I was going to start her off with. Then she can ask questions as she needs after that.
