Hi Guys

Even if someone has given the same answer for the same kind of wax please answer with your information also. I want as many opinions as possible.

Type of Soy or Soy Blend you use?

Additives if any?

Preferred dyes?

Preferred wick (Not sizes)?

Pouring temp you recommend?

What you do to prevent frosting?

What you do to prevent rough tops?

Do you do anything to prevent wet spots?

I want to put something together in the Tips and FAQ Database and Archive everyone that helps will have their names listed at the bottom of the data base. Credit will be give where credit is due.

Type of Soy or Soy Blend you use? Superior Soy or Proprietary Blend

Additives if any? None

Preferred dyes? Liquids

Preferred wick (Not sizes)? CD Wicks

Pouring temp you recommend? between 150- 120

What you do to prevent frosting? N/A

What you do to prevent rough tops? cool slow in a warm room or place box over candles after pouring to slow down the cooling process.

Do you do anything to prevent wet spots? Throw all glass containers in the dishwasher or handwash with Dawn. Within 48 hours before pouring, they must be squeaky clean. This will give you virtually no wet spots. Do not pour into cold jars in a cold room. Keep the room as warm as possible and allow your jars to come to the same temp before pouring.

Debated whether to include this or not because the product is mainly available to only Candlewealth distibutors. But, here it is anyway.

Type of Soy or Soy Blend you use? NVSoy (Candlewealth)

Additives if any? None

Preferred dyes? Candlewealth supplied dye chips

Preferred wick (Not sizes)? Cotton

Pouring temp you recommend? Between 100 and 110. Slushy

What you do to prevent frosting? Not typically a problem, except for batches with lots of red dye

What you do to prevent rough tops? Pour cool, but not too cool.

Do you do anything to prevent wet spots? Keep containers warm before pouring. Pour at lowest temp possible. Keep poured candle away from drafts. Basically, allow it to cool slowly.
