Uneven wax melts

Recommended Posts

As Trapp said, we need more information to properly help you.

What wax are you using, what temps are you pouring at, are you using molds or clam shells, are you using additives, and if so which ones, etc.,

We could all guess, (as others have, and yes, it does sound like too hot of a pour) but that's all it would be is guessing without knowing more crucial information.

It's funny you posted this because after many years I'm suddenly having the same problem.  It went away for a bit and now it's back.  I'm running my dehumidifier and I just don't know why they are sinking in the center other than it's C3 and a different case but I swear both cases were the same lot #.  I hate second pours on clamshells because I end up with a mess.  I guess maybe if I only fill to top of the cavity and then do a second pour it may help.  A slight indent doesn't bother me but these are horrible in most cases.
