divadoll777
Hi, The diameter of my jars is 4.7 inches. Can someone give me helpful, cheap tips on how to secure my wicks without the standard wick bars? All of the wick bars that I have seen are too small. Many thanks! Jcandleattic
Wrap the wick around a dowel rod, or popsickle stick and lay that across the top of the jar while the candle is setting up.
TallTayl
I have used long popsicle sticks with a hole drilled in the middle. Then I can grab onto the wick with a clothespin to keep it tight.

GoldieMN
I use combs from the dollar store. You get something like 12 for a dollar. Pull the wick into the teeth to secure. I learned this from a post on this forum some time ago. Goldie
divadoll777
Genius - I love the comb idea. My jar is double wicked so this should still be very helpful.
