Packaging Advice

Recommended Posts

Does anyone have experience packing and shipping large quantities of glass jar candles? I recently got an order for 400 of my 11 oz Tumbler candles with metal lids. Each finished candle weighs about 17 oz. and I will need to ship them from Denver to Virginia. With smaller orders, I typically wrap each one individually in foam wrap and pack it in a box surrounded by peanuts. I just ordered 55 cases of jars from CandleScience and am hoping I can reuse some of their packaging to ship the finished candles. If they'll fit, I was thinking of wrapping each candle, and putting them back inside of the cases they came in, and then back inside the outer boxes with peanuts. I figured only a few cases per box so they don't get TOO heavy and increase the likelihood of damage. Does anyone have advice on something like this? Thanks!
