TallTayl
Just finished the 6 layer rainbow unicorn soap. It takes 6 separate batches poured one after another to make it. The last layer, red, is "Really Red" by Nurture Soap. I may have used a little too much because it looks a bit like I murdered a ?. The super sparkles make it look less so, eh?
Shari
That looks pretty. Can't wait to see the cut soap. I need to make soap, scrubs, sprays, bathbombs so badly but life has gotten in the way (daughter and grandkids just moved back by me). I need to get ready for some shows in the fall and make wedding favors for the end of September.
Jcandleattic
I want to see that cut!! I mix my own colors to get red. Usually it works out great. I use a neon pink mixed with a touch of red oxide and get a very rich, nice. Christmas Red almost every time. As I said if I'm heavy handed with one or the other it skews it, but when I actually follow my formula (LOL) it comes out perfect every time. Being away for so long, I am going through craft making withdrawls. LOL
PhoenixFyre
I love that red! When's the cut? When's the cut? Bring on the rainbow unicorns!
TallTayl
Cut Pictures! It toned down from the blood red to a pretty rainbow red. A little more than 30# of Unicorn Rainbows. Too long to fit into my log splitter, so I improvise with a few shims. Split into four 22" long logs. Cut into 1" thick bars. Got 87 good ones from this batch. All lined up on the curing shelf with the off cuts and ugly end bars made into sample sizes. It makes me so happy to see a shelf full of rainbows.
