Destined2win
Hello everyone newbie here! I wanted to ask if anyone here has ever experienced having lingering scents in your silicone molds and if so how did you get rid of it? I'm going to be working with M&P by the way. thanks in advance!!!
8-GRAN-ONES
I have noticed that with some of my silicone molds. I just went ahead and used them, and I have never noticed or experienced any of the lingering scent transferring to my new soap.
Destined2win
Thanks 8-Gran's. I wonder what I could use in case that happens?
moonshine
I do not make soap but with wax same thing.... It never transfers to the next batch whether it's a silicone mold or pour pot or stir stick
Jcandleattic
In all of my years of soapmaking, I have never had a lingering scent transfer to a new batch of soap. However, if that does happen (which I really don't think it will), you can wash it out with really hot soapy water, then do a vinegar rinse. it may not get rid of the scent all together, but it will ensure it doesn't transfer...
