Koh Liquid Soap

OMG that liquid soap is beautiful, it looks like honey! I am hoping to make soap again today when I finish work, and hopefully this weekend. The Sun and Sand is getting stronger it is very nice, think people will like it. The Love Spell is stronger than my old one from Candle Science, I had just soaped the last of the CS so I was able to compare. I am loving the Peach Magnolia Raspberry, and it is stronger now too, I also love the Redwood Cedar, strange but I smell cinnamon, which I am sure is just me, the Tangerine Dream is nice, but I would like it a little stronger, will have to see what happens, I am also waiting to see if the Black Cedarwood Juniper changes it seems to have calmed down a little, but still plenty strong.

I also have the FB Pink Sugar, and know at 8% vanilla it will be dark brown, so I am trying to decide  what to do, I don't use glitter, but have some bright pink glitter that I bought when I first started soaping, might use that or maybe a mica swirl. I've never done mica swirls, and wonder if they wash off when the soap is used. I will have to play around to see what I come up with.

My soap curing rack is quickly getting full, so I will need to get creative soon. I know that I will have enough soap for the craft fairs I have scheduled, but hoping I can find one or two more. One of the 5 is juried and I am not guaranteed that I will have a table, I know there is one other soap maker that has put in an application, but our soap is very different. They don't tell you for sure to the end of October which I find annoying, but it is a great fair, this is only their 2nd year, I was too late last year.

Thanks Diana! If only it were naturally thick like honey! Lol! I wanted you to get an idea how the finished soap looks, so you'll know what to expect when you get a chance to make some:)  I color mine with drops of liquid food coloring except if using an essential oil or blend..I leave those natural.

The FB Pink Sugar soap is already golden brown, but smells great! definately a keeper so far.. I did reserve a little unscented soap batter and used neon pink for a swirl. I used my slab mold and hoping the brown doesn't swallow it up. I don't like using glitter either.

FB Sweet berrylicious is still golden discoloration, medium scent strength so far,and was hoping it would be stronger..I did use 1 oz. /ppo..

My Redwood and Cedar soaps are quite strong too, but not detecting a cinnamon note.

Happy you like the Peach Magnolia Raspberry and the scent gets better with cure and doesn't fade for me:)

Good luck with the upcoming craft fairs. My upcoming craft fair if juried too and barely got in, as I waited a while before mailing my application. Almost too late and didn't get my favorite spot, but hopefully I will do well. There have been at least 4 other soapmakers in the past years, but I have still done great on sales every year and hoping this year is a successful one. I'm taking a huge variety of soaps to choose from, so they won't be lacking for choices,lol..They always love a big variety:)

I love making KOH Liquid soap with glycerin as 50% of the liquid to make and 100% water to dilute. Turns out so nice. I love it.

Yours is beautiful.

Thanks J! I always make mine with some glycerine too, except this time I was out. I did use a little sodium lactate though.I figured it would take much longer to reach taffy stage without the glycerine, but not much difference. I timed it from measuring out oils, Lye solution, stick blending off and on and in 35 minutes I was done. I put a lid on it and left it overnight in warm oven to finish cooking.
