Holy cow! That's a bunch of candles! How many boxes are there?

Now I feel like a lazy bum, lol.

I believe 173 cases. I have it written down somewhere.

Your not a lazy bum. I have no doubt you've been working like crazy. I just want everything to have a nice cure on it and not be scrambling to make things. I have a few back to back weekends this year. Help!

Wow weeeee!  All those candles!   I'm very impressed!  And you are so clean, neat and organized as you work.....I was especially fascinated watching you ZOOMING through them clipping the wicks...Jack, is that you in the video?

Loved loved the video....please put more up here so we can see...You have others?  I'd love to see them.

I hope you have very profitable shows....Is that the 8oz country comfort jar you use?  If you don't mind me asking, what will you be selling these for retail?

Awe! Thank you Trappeur! That is kind of you to say. After I posted this I thought I hope everyone doesn't think I'm bragging I just wanted to share. I never have anything to share and I finally had something interesting IMO. I do want to do more videos so hopefully I can get my butt in gear and make more.

So first the reason I was zooming clipping those wicks is because I sped up the video a bit. Lol! so I normally don't go that fast. Wouldn't it be great if you could though. Lol! Yes that is little ole me in the video. Hehe!

Thank you I hope my shows go well also. Fingers crossed!

That is a 10oz country comfort jar. They look very similar.

I know I'm gonna get slammed for this but I hope not. I'm selling them for $17 each. I had to raise my prices this year because of supplier increases as we all know. I do have a show deal that I do 2 for $30. If we find that price doesn't fly we may come down a bit but most of the shows we do the folks have money to spend.

Geesh, we all should be making as much as we can on a candle with as much concern and sincerety and work we all put in our candles so I think that is great that you can sell for 17.00 a candle so you go boy!!  And I don't call that bragging.....if it is I would be bragging too with all those boxes.....I'm glad you shared as we all looovvveeee pictures.  Do you care to devulge what size 2 wicks you put in that jar?  I have been forever trying to double wick the country comfort jar and 2 cd 5's do great but they could be a bit smaller for me...If they didn't have the little neck they have I would be happy but the jar is just a tad too hot for my liking. So I have stuck with a 1212 or cd 20 or 22 till I'm able to find the right size for wicking.  I'm going to try premiers next.   And wow, they have covers like that for the country comfort?  I would much prefer that silver lid or a black one if they did instead of the glass.  I think I saw on a site somewhere where there were lids that might fit...can't remember.

Thanks for sharing Jack.  Well done!

Wow! You are on it!!  Everything looks great!!  I keep thinking to myself that I'm going to start getting stuff ready early but I haven't.  I did just order a ton of supplies and hoping to order more in a few weeks once more orders come in. :)  I'm thinking I'm going to be slammed as well and want to be better prepared than last year.  I have been extremely busy this summer and it's usually a lot slower.

Thanks for sharing!

Thanks so much for sharing! Wow, have you been busy!! How long did it take you too pour all them? Love your videos! Pretty amazing guy you are :)

I believe I started about mid June and have been working on them since then. We calculated that if i did 2 cases a day I could meet the deadline for the first show but I have managed to make up to 6 a day. I always feel that's not enough- like i shouls be doing way more but getting up most days at 4:45am to work out at the gym, I'm basically exausted by 7pm.

Thank you for sharing this! It was really inspirational. My little business has hit a major growth spurt and I've been feeling really discouraged thinking that it's impossible to scale up without a giant wax melter or a big production space. So seeing this kind of volume produced with a presto in someone's home was super encouraging. You're impressive!!!

Do you have any tips for someone who needs to scale up to meet growing demand?

Thank you Amanda! That is very sweet of you to say and I'm glad I could give you some inspiration too! My advice I guess would be to make things in advance if you have a place to store them. I don't know what wax you use but because I use soy I like a nice cure on my scents and try to have my most popular fragrances available.

The thing that I hate is sometimes my place is not as beautiful I as I would like it because of all the candle stuff everywhere during times when I'm really in production mode. I guess we all have that to deal with if we are still in our homes ;-)

This has been the first year that I've really been on the ball getting everything planned and I hope to keep that going. After the holiday I'm going to start spring/ summer production so they'll be ready for the few spring shows I can do before it gets too hot.
