Colloidal Oatmeal?

I am getting ready to make a 2 Pound tester of Goats Milk Soap using Colloidal Oatmeal - My question is what is a safe percent of water should I use? Would 33% be a good number?

I always use 33% lye solution strength - even if it is 100% GM (which all of my GM soaps are)

Same here. With the exception of FOs that accelerate. Then I use full water.

The better question is how much oatmeal to use in your tester. I find its real easy to overdo the amount of oatmeal and you come up with a nasty bar of soap. It reminds me of using clays. Too much of a good thing doesn't equate better. I'm very conservative (about 1 tsp pp ) when it comes to additives of any kind. Customers seem to only want a soap that bubbles, softens skin and smells or doesn't. Oh and they somehow want the right characteristics for their type of skin  in one bar of soap, lol.

Yes. I use about 1tsp oatmeal PPO. If its a 3-4 lb batch I use 1 tbs. Same with clays. They can effect the lather or texture of the bar is too much is used. But using oatmeal does make a nice bar of soap.

I have read in a few places to use about 1 TBSP per pound of oils. But I also like to stick with - start with less. --

I've read that too but my experience has taught me different. I am sticking with 1tsp PPO.

I'm in the less is more camp. People love the idea of additives, but change tunes when having to clean it out of the tub/shower.

I'm with Shannon and I no longer add anything to my soaps that can and will clog my drain.   Now it is illegal in NY state to use micro beads in anything that goes down the drain.  They have made a complete clogging mess at the city water stations across the state that have caused hundreds of thousands of dollars in repair costs because they do not dissolve.
