Candybee
Anybody ever get a legit customer inquiry on your website from overseas? Generally I just delete these inquiries, especially if in the initial email they ask a general question like "I would like to place an order and do you accept credit card charge? (I don't have a shopping cart on my website, just a message to contact me for purchasing info. But once in a while I wonder if I am missing an opportunity. How do you tell the legit customer from the scammer?

Guest OldGlory
Candybee, I lived overseas for several years, and shipped things back and forth a few times. When I lived over there, the exchange rate on the US dollar was weak, so the buying power of the dollar was low. I don't know what it is now, so I can't factor that in for you - and that would be a factor! However, with customs fees and shipping fees, I don't see how buying a loaf of soap or a few loaves would be less expensive than buying it over there. Shipping on a few loaves of soap would be upwards of $50 probably.I would question ANY order out of country.
