Trappeur
While everyone was away at the convention and I was at home being jealous I made up some new crystal jars I won on Ebay....Geesh, I wished I could buy these wholesale and sell them to specialty shops as I think I could possibly have something different to sell to them. I happened upon them for 26.00 each plus shipping about 14.00 so I made a rediculous offer of $20.00 with shipping and I could'nt believe they accepted the offer! Actually I ordered them for my friend who I make crystal jars for her but they are usually much much bigger and when this came in it was smaller than I expected....but after I made up the candles I decided I'm keeping for myself.....hee hee hee...(terrible isn't it)....She'd prefer the bigger jars that I triple wick but maybe she will change her mind after she sees these jars..lol..... This jar is 5 1/2" tall without the lid and 4" diameter. I didn't put the wicks in because with any new style jar I have to test for wick sizing....so I'm pretty sure the 2 cd 5's are going to be perfect. But I have to wait for a 2 week cure first. I did in the most awesome scent I now am doing....."Pumpkin Pecan Waffles" from Tennessee.....I think I'm going to order 5 pounds of this scent it is that awesome and I have already tested it in c3 and 464 and it works!!!! I want to do all my candles in this fragrance...... Here are some pictures of what I made for a lady who has a cabin here in the mountains of cornice boards (window treatments) of where I went yesterday. She loved them so much she ordered 2 more for her living room - one is for a 6foot window and a 4foot window. Then I have to come up with a new style cornice board for her bedroom that I have to do in a red distressed colorway with pine cones, birchbark and acorns. I love love doing these. She said just use my judgement and do 2 treatments for her bedroom which is another 6foot window and 4 foot window. So I was a happy camper yesterday when I left with a deposit and my imagination running crazy in my mind for figuring out a differnt style.. Geesh, I needed that....Now I can get some new tires for my truck and get more grain and hay for my horses.....All I do is work to feed my animals, I swear.....sigh....... Thanks for looking. GoldieMN
Beautiful work. You are a very talented person. Do you worry about using glass containers that might not be able to take the heat as candle and canning jars? GoldieMN

Do you worry about using glass containers that might not be able to take the heat as candle and canning jars?GoldieMNHi Goldie, Oh, I am so very very careful with containers that are not specifically made for the purpose of candles. I don't sell these to the public. I make for myself and a friend of mine. I do very careful testings also. And when I wick anything I tend to wick on the lower side meaning I don't over wick at all. Containers I use, you are able to pick them up very easily. Even all my 3 wick jobbies, there is no problem picking up any container.
