I wouldn't say briny out of the bottle it is strong, however it is very very weak in cold process soap, I used one ounce per pound and you can hardly smell it a month later. I am so disappointed since I love the fragrance, would make a beautiful candle though. I am going to be making some Spa soap with sea kelp powder and mica from Nuture's Soap Supplies and sea salt with this blend. Not a true lemon, but sharp and it's what you smell first. It is definitely clean, but my nose detects no brininess. I finally remembered to sniff it today! Like Moonshine said it has a more briney scent to it. It is definitely different from the Salty Sea Air. It is a wonderful blend...I made some this last weekend and can't quit opening the jars to smell. They are going to a new home today, so I will have to make more.
