amanda
I tried the search function, as I'm sure this has been discussed but I think the key words bring up too many hits and I couldn't find any info. I'd like to make a lavender rose blend for valentine's day. Has anyone done this before? Lavender does well with my customers but not many other floral. Maybe blended with lavender the rose would be more appealing? Does anyone have a recipe that they like for a lavender rose blend? Is CS's rose a nice rose scent for 6006? Thank you in advance
Candybee
I blend my rose with honeysuckle to make honeysuckle rose and its one of my best sellers. Both Peaks and CS have a nice rose that I have used in my candles. I have made my own blend of rose and lavender and called it english garden. I used the rose and lavender from CS to make it. amanda
OooOoo honeysuckle rose sounds nice. I have CS honeysuckle Jasmine. Do you think that might work? I'm glad to hear that you like CS's rose. I have to make an order from them so I'll pick some up. For some reason, I just feel like there is something really romantic about lavender and rose. <
Candybee
I use CS Honeysuckle Jasmine and CS Red Rose 50/50% for my Honeysuckle Rose. It is my most popular floral aside from straight lavender or lilac.

grama
How are the Oregon Trails fragrance oils in candles? Edited December 29, 2014 by grama
Candybee
OT has been around for years and has an excellent reputation for selling quality oils. I would not hesitate to buy them, however, they are on the west coast and I am in Virginia so I buy my FOs at more local candle supply venues like CS, C&S, Peaks, etc.
