tncandlesupplies
Hi, soap makers how do you test a fragrance? Brent http://tncandlesupplies.com

TallTayl
Single bar batches here. Usually 10 - 20 scents at a time. No sense for me wasting soap oils on fo's that may misbehave, morph, discolor, fade or be otherwise objectionable.
Shar
I do about the same as Talltayl if I have a lot of samples to test. Usually though I make 5 large batches of soap at a time and just reserve a couple ounces of soap batter from each for testers if I only have a few. Starr
If you guys are doing single bar testers are you using a mold or making soap balls?
Shar
I use a decorative mold mostly, or the plastic single soap bar clamshells work good.
TallTayl
Either a silicone round mold or a Really useful Box when making samples.
