kountrytimes
So I bought some of that new "Hybrid Wax" from Candles and Supplies...here are my results..8oz mason jar...1 1/2 oz apple jack peel...cd12 wick..Cold throw excellent...Hot throw very good, could be a little stronger BUT I only let it cure for 1 day (was excited to see how it was), and maybe need to wick down 1 size.Let me know what you think from pictures....been burning for 2 hours.... sandy511
Oooh! Thank you for sharing! I would be psyched with any HT after only a day's cure. Did you have to do multiple pours or was it a one pour wax? Is it pulling away from the jar? It's hard to tell in the picture. It sure looks like a pretty candle I might have to order some! kountrytimes
Just one pour and it didnt pull away from the jar.I also did some melties which came out of the silicone molds nicely. Will be putting one in a burner tonight to see how they do. But so far I am really liking this wax.

Jcandleattic
That's good. And yes, from the looks of the candle after only 2 hours, I'd probably wick down and re-test. I use C&S pre-production pillar and votive blend wax and LOVE IT! It has great hot and cold throws and you pretty much can heat and pour at any temp and the results are pretty consistent. Only problem is no rustics with this wax, but that's okay. I have my straight paraffin for that.
Candybee
Is that 1 1/2 oz FO for one 8 oz jar or for 1 lb of wax?

coachtom
How did the remainder of your test go? I ordered a sample of the Hybrid wax today. Looks like it holds color well!
