My very first soap swirl

I just unmolded a small batch, 1lb recipe, using sunflower oil, castor oil, coconut and olive oil and 1 oz of FO.   It felt very silk like coming out of the mold and wasn't as soft as I thought it would be. I'm just using trial and error for the recipes, I haven't attempted to make one of my own yet, but I do run everything through a lye calc before hand.

Hopefully I can improve, but for now, I was very pleased and a little surprised that I managed to do this

Thank you all for your kind replies,I scented this batch with NG Christmas Wreath, hope the scent holds.   This level will be where I'm at for awhile, I'd like to try other recipe blends as well.  Just finished looking up cp soap layering, don't think I'm ready for that yet :)

Sounds awesome!  I need to get soaping too.  Where do you get your bubble gum FO from?  Is it something you offer year round?

UPDATE  2/18/15

After curing some months, I've used the first bar of this recipe and here again, 8 weeks works well for this one to.   The soap is creamy, very.   Small bubbles.  Color didn't fade during curing , remained the same.  The F)used did change some, at 6 weeks of cure time, the scent was like a fresh pine, at 8 weeks +, the scent faded to a light pine sol like scent, so initially out of bottle it was great, but it isn't one that I'll use in soap again.    The FO didn't cause any unexpected problems with soaping either.  Not sure how the FO would work for candles yet.
