Renaming Tinsel

I am really bad at naming things too, but I blend some berries/fruits and call it Winterberry. One of my sources used to sell a Winterberry too and it was nothing like mine. Seems that name might work for your FO.

Tinsel is one of my very favorites! I used a tinsel scented soap this morning :)   It's definitely an underrated fragrance.  I have thought over the years that maybe a new name would help it  sell but I've still kept it as tinsel.   Winterberry is a great name for it.  Though I wonder if people would expect a winterberry to be more piney or cranberryish?

Here is a picture of a soap that I made using Tinsel.  I named it Tinsel. lol.

I like the frosted berries or Winter berries name.

Ohhh I like it. I tried doing an M&P layer in CP soap before.

Yeah, it was a failure. LMAO Then I went to a friends house and we did one together and it was much better, but still not as pretty as yours!! Love it.

SuzyK that soap looks wonderful. I had it at a show this past weekend and asked a bunch of customers what they thought it should be named and no luck. I smell more mint than berries. I am going to have to keep thinking on this one. I hate the renaming thing, I am not good at it. It took me forever to come up with a name for Reindeer Poo for the rest of the year as I really liked the scent.

If you make anymore of this design can I buy a couple?  They are beautiful and would make a great Christmas present for my sister.

Thank you for the compliments on the soap!  It takes forever to make.

Tinsel is mostly pomegranate and then the mint is like, what is that, oh it's mint. lol.  It's such a cool fragrance.

Trappeur, I have some made if you want some. :)

Those are gorgeous! I would love to learn to make those!

Moonstar, I work with special needs kids. I'm about to start on my 20th year. It's the most rewarding job I've ever had! The kids give me so much more than I could ever give them. Absolutely love my job!

I was searching for something else and came across this post from 2014.  Beautiful soap!
