Which 6 labels for Christmas tins would you pick?

Which 6 labels would you pick for labels for tins?

The 2 mushroom labels I really love but can't decide - red or green border?

The 2 blue labels that say white Christmas which would you pick...the one with the cabin or the mountain scene.

I need a total of 6 different labels.  If it helps any, not that I think it would, but the scents that are going to be used are:

Mistletoe

Chestnuts and Brown Sugar

Christmas Hearth

White Christmas

Santas Whiskas

Holly Berry

Fairy Dust

Tinsel

Christmas Lodge.....Well I love that name, but it fights with my name, "Trappeurs Lodge".  Does anyone have any suggestions of something that would be rustic elegant like Christmas Lodge?

Any suggestions, I'm all ears....thankyou

Oh but are you asking which one for all the christmas scents? Hmm, I would say either #2 OR #6 (But I love whimsical snowmen more so than the average person, so #6 might not be a good choice for all of them) #2 or #4.

However, #8 is more closely related to your regular labels, and you might want to go with that one for continuity.

Actually I should have explained better.....I have 6 different fragrances for Christmas and I wanted 6 different labels.  I guess it doesn't really matter what scent goes on 1 label as it's Christmas cause I don't even know myself what is going where.  I made up too many labels and wanted to get suggestions from everyone which labels were the best ones to pick from.  I know I want the black one with the deer and as you said JC, it goes with my other black labels I'm using...so that is for sure I want that one.   And I'm not a blue person, but #4 you picked, I wanted to.  And I fell in love with the mushroom design and wanted that one too! lol....just couldn't pickout the border...oh heck, I shouldn't have even put up these pictures, but kept them all and just go and get another 2 Christmas fragrances and be done with it!  You see at Christmas I do different labels just for fun and to make it interesting and people have a choice of label.....

Thankyou JC

I agree with barbaranj. For the mushroom labels, I'd make the scent name the same color as the border. If you're set on green, make the border green too. But I'd personally go with red for both.

Between the white christmas choices, I'd pick #3. It just seems more Christmasy AND wintery to me. #4 just looks wintery. (That was probably such a dumb reason, lol.) I'd still use them both, though!

I had to ditch 2, I'd go with #5 and #8. Just a little too basic compared to the rest.

Great work!!

Trappeur-- I really like the rustic tagline on your labels. If you are going to use it you should incorporate into every label for consistency and branding.

My other suggestion is pick a style and build on that. You have selected a variety of styles. I am not an artist or graphics expert so I don't know the names of the styles but to my eyes I see animation, photographic, retro, stylistic, etc. The styles remind me of the different types of Chrismas cards you get over the holidays.

Don't get me wrong, they are all very pretty and I like them all. I just think you could take your labeling and branding a lot further if you stuck to a particular style and build on that. Or, use one style for one line of candles, and another style for different line. Hope that makes sense.

Thankyou everyone so much for your input.  It certainly has been a trying time to decide which labels to go with and I can see from everyones posts that pretty much I could go with just about any label.

Candybee, I really agree with your opinion about sticking with 1 label and building on it.  I have had my black label for a number of years and I really do love them and it really is a much more classy look to stick with one style and just change the fragrance name.  I also agree on having the tagline on all my labels.  I can do it on the large ones, but not on the small unfortunately as they are too small.  Sticking with the black label as my original one and maybe just doing the Christmas Collection in the black with the deer design and the pine tree design people would recognize me as they all flow together.    Maybe I need to rethink all this........hmmm.  I did the "Christmas card collection" as JC said the past few years and it has been a real great response and I get a lot of business from different stores.   I just change the artwork.  I have been doing this only for Christmas.  I know the labels don't really look like me  but I had a request a couple of years back from a shop to do different themes and I did it and it has gone over very well...I have been doing this for certain shops and it fits their store being colorful and very eclectic.  For me when putting in the shop, I have stuck with the black theme but thought I would be a little different this year and have these different  colorful candles in 1 area being that it was only for Christmas....  but maybe I need to rethink this.  I'll work on this this weekend. hmmmmm.....you've got me thinking here....

Moonshine, I don't print my own labels.  I wouldn't even know how to put labels in the printer to printer....lol  I order my labels from a company called Zazzle where you select artwork.  All the different designs are by different artisans and each artisan will work with you as far as making changes from their original designs.  Once you select your designs this company prints on anything from t shirts to key rings to cards, stationary and just about anything.  I love this company and have been using them since they went into business.  Unfortunately the sticker labels they offer only come in 2 sizes; 1 1/2" or 3" so I have had to work off of those 2 sizes.  You change backgrounds of art to your own font and even use photos off of your own computer. You can enlarge or decrease whatever design you select.  You can search for millions of designs and they way you do a search on their site is pretty diverse.  The small labels come out to 10cents apiece and the larger ones 50 cents to 1.00 and they have sales all the time and they print just beautiful.  It has worked for me just beautifully and shipping is immediate.  You can check out their site.

Thankyou eveyone for all your suggestions.  It sure has helped me.

They're all lovely and eye-catching. I personally love 1, 3, and 5 the best.
