Also, Peaks has a good sugar cookie and so does NG. JS has a good buttercream sugar cookie. It wasn't that potent to me....Then one day I got a sample of Peaks Sugar Cookie and it was heavenly. It was real nice but not that strong but I really liked it, so I did 50/50 Peaks S. Cookie and Vanilla Voodoo and it was really luscious. So that is what I have been doing. Ever since Moonworks went out of business I know others have been trying to duplicate Sugar Cookie Royale. I believe 2o7 sent a sample to Flaming Candle. I just got a sample of it yesterday and I just poured a 5" crock with it with a 3 wick job just this morning. Now have to wait....Out of the bottle, the scent is absolutely gorgeous! I'll give an update after it sits s week. If it is anything like the sample scent, I would say this will be a winner..... My sister sent me the Flaming Candles S. Cookie and I just got so don't know how it will turn out for a week after the candle cures but I'll put up my findings...lol Angie, I don't think you would be disappointed in Peaks or Candle Cocoons. Trappeur Posted September 8, 2014 Share Posted September 8, 2014 Hello Sharon, I really loved Flaming Candles Sugar Cookie Royale (the dupe). I wished it could have been a little stronger. But I liked it well enough that I will reorder it again. They did a real nice job duplicating it (although I have never had the original from Moon Works)...lol But it is very creamy, sweet, luscious and has that bakery aroma that it's supposed to. I haven't tried Fragrance Buddy's dupe of the scent so can't respond to theirs. I did make a 16 oz jar of the Sugar Cookie and a friend stopped by one evening and said what ever I had made in a candle, it smelled like I was baking as he could smell it b/4 he came into the house. That's the kind of comments I love to hear....lol As far as peaks goes, their Sugar Cookie is a very nice one but a fainter scent. I mixed theirs with Vanilla Voodoo (Candle Cocoon) and I use to call that Sugar Cookie for myself. That Vanilla Voodoo I could drink from the bottle. It's my most favorite fragrance in the world. I don't care for all of them, but most are awesome. Yet another supplier...will it ever end Yep, isn't that the truth, it never ceases to end...And like Tracey said, go by the recommendation on the bottle of what amount percentage to use. Her oils are very concentrated and you do use less. Every oil I ever got from Lyschel (the owner) was a very strong oil with much depth to it except the Apple Pie. Ooey gooey Caramel is very heavenly and extremely rich.... Sultry Angel (I'm not good at descriptions as you have to read it) is THE most powerful fragrance I have ever used from anyone. I couldn't sell any of those in my area but the Daystar was quite good IMHO. I never thought the NG was strong enough but a lot of folks sell it year round. They're right, it's great!Also, FB has a Cookie Kitchen that's good OOB (haven't put it in wax but would be glad to send you a sample) and also Mrs. Claus Cookies from NG is great.
