vberkesch
Greetings all, Has anyone here used dendritic salt in their bombs? 1) does it help with fragrance retention.2) how do I use it? How much & do I first mix the salt in the f.o. Then mix that to the rest of the batter? Thank you for your thoughts on this matter. Scented
Yes, I've used it on fragrances I thought might turn out a little light or that I knew were lighter than I wanted. I typically use about 3 T of it for the batch size I do, add the 2 T of scent I use. I mix it together and set it aside while I work on the rest of the batch, adding it last before doing any coloring.
vberkesch
Thanks scented -Is it difficult to get the dendritic & FO mixture incorporated into the rest of the batter?
Scented
No. Not in the slightest. Put it in light a bowl, because it is easier to get it out of the container. By that I mean wet salt is going to stick to sides. Edited July 26, 2014 by Scented
