  1. I usually put mine in the oven afterwards to get most of the bubbles out. Then let it cool in the oven. I have found it is very hard to pour and not get any bubbles, no matter what temperature. You can try warming the glass ahead of time too, but it still probably won't get all the bubbles out.
  2. I am not a fan of lavender, but my customers are. That said, when I make lavender products, I actually like the Peak's lavender the best. To me the lavender scents are STRONG and the Peaks' version I can actually stand in strong doses.
  3. I checked the supply list but am drawing a blank. Define MW, I "have" to try the Sugar Cookie Royale! Thanks!
  4. They look great! And I bet they smell great too! Great colors!
  5. I just checked out your site, Tammy! I love your layered candles! :-)
  6. Those look great! I would love to learn how to do that. Anyone have a good tutorial on making swirled candles?
  7. Well they never wrote back anymore so it looks like it was a scam. Thanks for all the advice/opinions.
  8. I say go for it. It is a great opportunity that you can get out of if it doesn't work out. You may find that this leads to other things so you should take the opportunities as they present themselves. Good luck and let us know how it goes.
  9. For this you would have to use an over-sized votive container.
  10. Hi Tammy! I am doing well. The business is going good. I am still working hard on it and hoping to continue to increase sales. Are you going to the workshop this year?
  11. Thank you, flight, for that great idea! I think I will try that because it is hard to push out the hole and not break off the rose pieces. I have other molds with splits, so I think that will work well in this case too! :-)
  12. Jeni, What ratio of 4630 to 464 do you recommend to remove frosting. I am looking at a starting point for testing and would welcome your input on the percentages to start with. Thanks!
  13. It wasn't pretty the first time. Hahahaha! Lots of little pieces broke off. I had to learn to be more patient and slide it out S-L-O-W. It put a hurting on my hands, too. The mold is hard and trying to do it carefully, well it has taken practice. Totally worth it, though!
  14. Great for Valentines Day, Mother's Day, Weddings.....any occasion! Tricky getting them out of the mold, but I love the way they look.
