  1. I couldn't give the tarts away in the cupcake wrapers....the scalloped tins from candlewic make a beautiful presentation.
  2. You go girl, I love your positiveness, I didn't say impossible ...just hard. Get it right and you will have one hell of a candle. MLJ
  3. These jars are really lovely...and oh so hard to wick. If you look at the site ...they are wickless candles to be used with warmers. MLJ
  4. My big seller is "Tropical Fruit" Personally I don't care for it...but my customers do!
  5. I agree 100%...I ware a respirator when I pour it. The scent make me ill and I have tried so many different FO's and EO's. MLJ
  6. I have used SFIC for 7-8 years....and have never had any one, not my testers and certainly not my customers complain about dryness. The only brand that Brambleberry mentions is Stephenson..every site I know of the sells SFIC...promotes the name with high visibility. Just my 2 cents.
  7. Love the beads...very attractive.....hang tags need to go! Sorry! Colored labels are distracting...have you thought about a clear label?
  8. I agree! Plastic, any type, will eventually absorb the scent, thereby weakening the aroma of the beads.
  9. I have never kept them in plastic....I keep them in glass jars....and refill from there I have never had to refresh them. I too have been making them for several years. Most I have had them is about 5-6 months.
  10. They are simple and lovely. Not sure if they came from the Dollar Tree (probably not) but Dollar Tree has some that look very similar.
  11. Georgia, I am sure there are many ways to elevate the Presto Pot. My concern would be for safety and would want to make sure that any stand was secure, strong and stable. You also need to be sure it could withstand some heat....the element on the bottom of the pot gets pretty hot.
  12. I also use KY 125 I do let it get to the "slushy" stage...but I also heat my containers. I know all instructions say it isn't necessary.....but it works for me. I also let my candles cure for a least a week. This wax has a great hot or cold throw.
  13. My mistake about the 1/4 ounce. Peacola, you are correct about the container...it is a Libby small Votive container. Georgia is also correct in that you really must weigh your wax and your fragrance. Having said that, I am still correct in that you want to pour several at a time...weigh a pound of wax and add 1 ounce of FO...or weigh out 1/2 lb of wax and use 1/2 ounce or FO.. These are samplers.....you do not need to fill them completely to the .875...fill it with .50. Now you didn't say whether or not you are charging for these or if you are wicking them???? I guess my assumption, and you know what the say about assumptions, were that you were make them as scent samplers. I hope this helps!
  14. I agree with both Richard and Judette ...I use soy or palm wax, and no need for additives. They have a wonderful hot and cold throw and last at least 12-15 hour burning.
  15. I prefer SFCI and Stephenson.....SFIC Goats Milk is fantastic. I have been making M&P for 8 years or more SFIC handles all additions. I have just tried Stephenson because it is less expensive, I have used the clear, suspension and the Shea butter so far so good.
