I am a HUGE fan of Vanilla Bomb.....I haven;t used it in any b&b yet but it is my top seller in Candles.

I do masons with a pewter (silver) lid and I do clear labels..but my print is all in black.....

Does anyone know of a source for the flickering light bulbs and lamp bases for the wax hurricanes? I am not having any luck sourcing these.

The 50/50 mix is definately more uniform in appearance, where the straight palm has more sporadic patterns...in person it looks alot like the picture that you posted.

Ok, so here are the visual results.... I tried just pouring into jars and that didnt work out....so I preheated the oven to 170..warmed my jars..poured the wax and placed them in the oven and shut it off...the trick is to cool very slowly.... Sorry for the poor quality of the pics but my camera is at home... The red is straight palm and the other 2 are a 50/50 mix of palm and soy. Now to test wicks.....

If that is the look you want then I suggest 1286 for containers and 1274 for pillars, that is what I use and you do not need an additive. And thank you :smiley2:

Well, I already do the mottling paraffin and do not need a mottling additive with the wax I use, curious about the soy and palm though!lol...so I will do a little playing....

Well, Im gonna play today and see what I can come up with....I can't get the conatiner palm aroiund here so I am gonna mix fethering palm with container soy and see what happens....

AND you can get penreco outside of the U.S....
