  1. Ohhh, I LUV working with embeds! Right now I am making prim mug candles in a variety of the pie scents. I add mine right as they are setting also so they will adhere nicely. It's fairly easy and I've had tons of fun just experimenting with different containers and embeds. Last night, I did a votive container in gingerbread and topped it with a sweet lil' gingerbread boy. It looks really cute! Tammy
  2. I do the same thing Sharon. I guess I've been lucky that it's worked great so far but it can be a bit of a hassel removing from the mold sometimes. I found that if you prep your molds with a tiny bit of Pam spray, they are much easier to remove. Personally, I try to avoid popping them in the freezer as they tend to develop little cracks and can break apart on the customer.
  3. I appreciate your responses...thank you ladies! I'm not really sure myself as to the brand as I just started making candles and purchased the soy wax from NorthStar Country Candle Company. It is simply sold as 100% pure "Premium Soy Wax CB-127b". I don't know where they get it but it's a wonderful wax that has performed beautifully so far. Before spending a lot of money to test run three or four different wicks, I thought I'd get some input from those who make the pint size candles first. Tammy
  4. Hello! I am new here...again... I am wanting to start making the jelly jar candles in the larger Pint size. My question is what size wick is best and where can I find them? I am using currently PSW CB-127b. Any help is greatly appreciated!!! Thanks! Tammy
