  1. soap guild does insure candle makers also - BUT you have to have a portion of your sales in soap.
  2. I just signed up w/the Soap Guild - not much more than Brower - plus you could defer payment w/PayPal and pay over 6 mths w/no interest. Brower was my first choice but they don't write in Louisiana and the Soap Guild wasn't that much more - plus you get a few member benefits that I liked - free webstore and discounts w/some vendors I already use. Good Luck!
  3. Thanks! We do candles, soaps, scrubs, fizzies, lotion sticks ... and I see where it does cover those also. I'll continute to check them out - they're actually not much more than the one I was going to pay for but they couldn't write a policy in Louisiana!
  4. ... where do you get it??? I've been searching and can't locate anyone to write a policy. Problem w/some is that I sell to a few retail stores. Any suggestions ... from anyone??? Thanks!
  5. i realize this is an old post - and may not require a response anymore - but what i've started doing is buying the clear labels from onlinelables.com and after printing i spray them 3 or 4 times w/Fixit spray that i buy at michaels. works great so far.
  6. i've just started buying their foaming bath whip - anyone else know where i can get it at a better price? paying $135.48 for 32 lbs. - i've looked around, but w/shipping to louisiana it all comes out the same, if not more but maybe i'm missing someone? i hate that it takes them 3 days to ship out - i don't like waiting!! lol
  7. great idea for the bath melts! i always use the mini muffin cups but these are very cute! i gave up on bath bombs a long time ago and just make them loose and package in tea bags! the weather here is too crazy for them to work!
  8. I asked around - put out signs at local OB/GYN's, Pediatrician's - asked day care places - posted on Facebook - got people to spread the word for me and I picked up the jars from different locations. I asked for a particular size and mostly got what I asked for. I rewashed the jars (you can soak a lot of jars in your tub) and removed the labels and spray painted the lids. I preferred to recycle the jars than buy new ones. Took a little time to gather all that I have, but once people found out about it, I had no problem getting what I needed.
  9. I've done them as favors for a wedding - she ordered 100 so I only charged her $2.50 - it was an easy order - only 2 different colors and all the same scent. I'm about to use all the scents I'm discontinuing in baby food jars just to get rid of the mass amt of jars and the scents and was thinking I would charge $3/each.
  10. WOW ... I had never heard of this - guess because we don't have a lot of 'in ground' graves down here - water level too high. I had to google to see what y'all were talking about. Some of these are really pretty - and I understand the reasoning behind them. Learn something new every day!

    Basic Warmer

Thanks for the response! I was wondering if there would be anything less expensive than the Candle Warmer as they are still priced at $3.50/each + shipping for wholesalers. Not much of a profit to be made on these. I'd just like to offer them as a convenience for customers - but still make some profit!

    Basic Warmer

What supplier(s) do you use to purchase the basic electric wamers? They are normally white. Thanks.
  13. scented, i may have mis-read - but would the 1oz push up tubes be ok - the best price i've found for those (besides the classies) is at cottonblossomcrafts.com. these sell really well for me. good luck!
