  1. I have a copy I special order from and also sell them to my customers. If you want one, let me know and I can order for you.

  3. Normally, curing will make them last longer, like making pickles or wine. Better strength.
  4. NEVER let them cool completely or put them in the freezer. That can cause you to loose your cutter. If you remove them when they are just slightly warm, they pop right out. I also NEVER go without using a silicone spray first. What do you mean they changed their beads? They used to have what is called WIDE SPEC, which means they are never the same and you do not know what is going into them. Prime beads are done the same 99% of the time and a better quality. When is the last time you used them?
  5. I had issues with their beads from Plastic Pellets for Fun. They melted on my table during a show. I can fold them in half, they are so soft.
  6. PS>>> If we were all alike and used the same stuff, like would be boring and there would be no competition. That would be no fun at all!
  7. Buy it Ship it beads is not the same company as Aroma Beads Online. There are different owners. Are you curing your beads before you bake them ? Do you folks send an email or call if you are having an issue? cooking too long can mess up the beads, as can putting in too much oil or powder. The customer service is very good. I have had the owner call me back on a holiday, weekend and evening. I have talked to the owner on numerous occasions for other information. They have had the same supplier for over 10 years, so not sure what you mean by switched beads. What was the difference? Things can change somewhat. This is a small industry in the life of plastics. That is why I only use Prime Resin Beads. The industry standards has a 5% ability, by law to be different. They can "never" be exactly the same between Lots. Do you have them confused with someone else? I get 55 lb bags at a time. No one ships for free. It may say that but they are charging for it! If you are having issues, maybe you need to call and ask questions! I have never seen anyone post a picture of what their ornies look like so I am posting mine. Making a few here and there is not a good test of aroma beads. Been doing this for over 10 years and I have tied everything out there. Pellets for Fun beads do not work in hot weather. They were horrible! I tried them to compare and they took forever to absorb and I can bend the ornaments in half. NOT a good thing. Just my opinion. Nothing against anyone, but if you are throwing something out, you are not experience at making aroma beads. There is never a reason to throw something out and always a way to salvage. I cook the beads at 335 for 9-10 minutes and they come out perfect, every time! Just a question, how many ornies are you making? I am doing hundreds every month and trust me, if something did not work, I would not buy them. As mentioned, just my opinion. No one has to like it my opinion.
  8. I did not like those beads at all! They melted in the car and on the craft tale at a show! Way too low of a melt. Use a digital scale. It is more accurate and and you will be more consistent. Oils weigh different amounts so 1 oz of one oil may not be the same as another. Over scenting does not make it stronger. I always use 1 oz per 8 oz of beads or 2 oz per pound of beads. Be sure you cure them or the fragrance will not last for more than a week. There is a knack to making them for sure. I also use a candle mold release in my cookie cutters or I use the silicone molds. One spray is good for 3-4 bakes. Take out the ornies while they are still a slight bit warm. The freezer will not help.
  9. I always trim mine. Looks more professional. They should not be all the way melted. If you cook them too long you are cooking out the fragrance.
  10. I have always gotten my beads from aroma beads online so not sure why you were having issues with them. I Know they have recently switched to Prime, which means they are the top quality and will always be the same. If you made them and cooked immediately, that will not last. Beads can always be salvaged. You should be using 2 oz of oil to 1 lb of beads. wait at least 4-5 days to cure them before cooking. To the person whose beads fell out, they were not cooked long enough. I always use the edge of a chopstick before I take them from the oven. If it pops up with the stick, they need more time. Everyone's oven is different. Been doing this for over 10 years. If you do not like them, try www.buyitshipit.com The have good quality beads. I tried the beads for fun. They were crap! The melt on them is way too low and they melted in the car and on the table at a craft show.
  11. Hi. Sticky beads are caused from too much of certain chemicals. They also use these for glue, so you are getting some bad beads. Also, not sure where you live but if you are having issues with 350, drop the temp down to 340 degrees. When it is really hot outside, it helps a lot. I have been making freshies for a long time. Are you curing your beads too? That has a lot to do with how long they last. I have a couple of great places I get them from and they are always the same and reasonably priced.
