  1. I am using the CBL 130wax from candlewic I use it for clamshell and melts It's a para soy blend! I really love this wax
  2. Good morning!!! Just curious the easiest way or how others remove wax from their candle melters? Is it easier to do while still hot ? I'm finding mine is not popping out after it turns to a solid I was told to freeze it than pop it out Just wondering how everyone else is doing it!
  3. Thanks....I'm waiting on my RRD wicks to come in...the CDN definitely looks the best... appreciate the update I'll let you know how RRD does compared to ECO once I get them ☺️
  4. I love the CBL-130 wax I'm using the ECO series because Bill binder from candlewic suggested that would be a good wick to use with this wax. I was also.told to try the RRD series I have ordered some ECO 12's and 14's Please let me know how the CDN and CD works for you. Thanks!!!
  5. I cure the candles for 7-10 days I believe the size wicks I'm using is definitely to small I'm using ECO 6 & 8's I need to move up a CPL I'm gonna try to do that and hopefully it will help Thanks
  6. Hello can you please tell me what you mean by hang up... Thanks!
  7. Hi I have yet another question... Man I didn't realize that this hobby I decided to start was gonna be so difficult I enjoy doing it and Don't want to give up and I know it takes a long time but I don't seem to be getting anywhere. My question is I have switched to using tin containers which I really like alot better I am using CBL-130 wax from candlewic ( I love this wax) I am using 8oz with 3" diameter and 16oz with 4" diameter tin containers I am using the ECO wicks. Problem they are tunneling like crazy. I know fragrance, colors and lots of other factors come in But I was wondering if someone could give me a size wick that is at least a good starting point for what I am using? Do I double wick the 16oz tins idk what to do anymore Feeling very discouraged
  8. Thank you guys so much I will just start over... Hopefully that was the 1st and last time that happens!! Appreciate all your help!
  9. Yes water in pan (I always have water in pan when melting) No humdifier And yes I've been using this wax this is the first candle this has happened with
  10. No I didn't add anything I added fragrance to the foam...but nothing else
  11. Thanks I was told a blend would be to brittle so I was worried about trying
  12. No I didn't.... I used my pouring pot Than I poured in bowl and stirred till it hardened enough to make the foam and let sit for about a week than tested
  13. Hello I was wondering if anyone has ever had this problem it's the 1st for me and I don't know why... I'm trying to make these beer candles and when I tested them as soon as I lit them it crackled and made a popping sound what would cause that to happen? How do I fix it? I burned for a 2nd time and only did it when I lit it and burned nicely afterwards...
  14. Those are so cute I'm also making sundae candles just started actually...was wondering how they burned for you... I'm trying to figure out how to make them burn correctly if it's even possible lol! Yours are really cute!!!
