I have been reading and learning so much on this forum. I ordered supplies from CS about a month ago, and immediately jumped in. I made a Fraser Fir scent in a 16 oz salsa jar with ECO 10 wick and Fireside in the same jar and wick. I knew nothing of the 2 week cure time, CS said nothing of this, so I burned after 48 hours. The Fraser Fir had an an amazing CT but the HT for both was NONEXISTENT!
Since curing time may have been the culprit, I waited two weeks and tried burning the fire side again. I could smell it... a little, but not near how I would want the HT to be!
I decided to clean out one of my fraser fir jars to try a bigger wick size. I put the jar on a double broiler to melt the sides so I could dump it. My kitchen smelled AMAZING once the wax was melted. Now I am wondering if my wick just wasn't hot enough to get the wax nice and hot? Could this be the culprit of my poor HT?
