  1. I have been reading and learning so much on this forum. I ordered supplies from CS about a month ago, and immediately jumped in. I made a Fraser Fir scent in a 16 oz salsa jar with ECO 10 wick and Fireside in the same jar and wick. I knew nothing of the 2 week cure time, CS said nothing of this, so I burned after 48 hours. The Fraser Fir had an an amazing CT but the HT for both was NONEXISTENT! Since curing time may have been the culprit, I waited two weeks and tried burning the fire side again. I could smell it... a little, but not near how I would want the HT to be! I decided to clean out one of my fraser fir jars to try a bigger wick size. I put the jar on a double broiler to melt the sides so I could dump it. My kitchen smelled AMAZING once the wax was melted. Now I am wondering if my wick just wasn't hot enough to get the wax nice and hot? Could this be the culprit of my poor HT? Specifics: Fraser Fir 16 oz 464 Wax 1 oz FO added at 185 degrees Poured at 135 degrees. Fireside 64 oz 464 wax 4 oz FO added at 185 degrees Poured at 125 degrees. Thanks for all of your help and opinions!
  2. Thank you for replying! How long do you let care and are you using FO’s from Candle science?
  3. So good to hear someone else having these same issues. My story almost to a “T”. Did you find any success?
