And as I'm working with it it's turning out to be a challenge. I will prob not go forward with it unfortunelty .. I've got one scent to work in this wax and by work I mean the wick stays lit and good throw. It's too bad. It's just not the same .. it's still such a pretty wax but very aggravating to have wicks just fizzle out

https://www.dpswax.com/ here is another option

It is different than the quantum waxes though. That stuff was just plain awful!

Got mine here in the US.. so it's in pellet form, melts the same , pours the same , looks the same a little different color but it's not the same because I can't wick it with my previous wicks. And as I test I'm finding issues at around 25 hours into test burns with my current wicks.

I've made a lot of calls and sent a lot of emails and from what I'm understanding it's not the wax being compliant that's the problem. The problem is finding someone with the capabilities to continue to produce it. Since the FDA has banned the hydrogenated oils it's going to have to be produced in a separate factory not like it was with food grade oils etc. they have found someone to produce it and that's why they put the advanced back on the market. I did buy and box and it's in pellet form , melts the same , pours the same but it can't be wicked the same so something's diff. However , I've been wick testing and I'm happy with it. Thank you for responding !!!

Bought a box . It appears to be the same wax it in pellets. It melts and pours the same but......... you can't wick it the same so it's not the same . I was disappointed as it was supposed to be the exact same wax.

CB Advanced making a comeback in 2018
Cblanca replied to Damo - Sydney's topic in Vegetable Wax & Beeswax Candle Making
Well it's not about being able to get the hydrogenated oil. That is made through the type processing they use on the beans . I think they also produced soy for food products and since the FDA banned them in foods they had to shut down. That's my guess from reading articles . So maybe they had to separate the factory in order to still produce the wax? -
CB Advanced making a comeback in 2018

I'm only seeing three comments on this thread so I hope I'm correct and not repeating something . I found out ecosoya cb advanced is coming back out in the US. I've called and emailed several companies. They are in the process of re testing it or waiting for samples so they can test it. Ecosoya supposedly is saying that it will be exactly the same however it will be in pellet form! Waiting for more info and will update! -
Natureswax c3 and wicking
Cblanca replied to Cblanca's topic in Vegetable Wax & Beeswax Candle Making
I’m at the bottom of the 16 oz widemouth jar and there is a lot of wax cling on one side still. It also looks very messy. The status jar also looks very messy. This till has wax clinging to one side as well, just not as bad as the 16oz widemouth jar. I tried double wicking the 16oz widemouth jar with two cd 6. It burned perfectly and no mushrooming . However, I noticed the glass a lot hotter than a single wick obviously. I’m starting to think that could be a concern... do you have thoughts on double wicking? Are you a fan of it or do you stay away from it...- 23 replies

Ok I've tested the cd wicks and the 7 series as well as the htps and the lx I've had no luck wicking the 16 oz wide mouth jars. I haven't tried the rrds. Best so far was the cd 16 and I'm not happy with that. No luck in this jar or the 12 oz status jar. I'm getting a little discouraged and tired. It was never this hard with the ecosoya advanced.- 23 replies

Hi! Well it sounds like what your doing might be working ! You should allow one hour for every inch the candle is across. It's alll just one big science experiment . I'm going to try the wicks someone has recommended and I'll post my results as soon as I have them.- 23 replies

I'm sorry ! I'm new to this and put that in the tags. A 16 oz wide mouth mason jar 3 1/2 inches . I'll add a pic of my old eco soya burn and my current natureswax c3 burn . 1st pic is eco soya advanced- burn I want to achieve with the new wax. Second pic is after 2 three hour burns on natureswax- 23 replies
