  1. Thank you! I do have a couple of pictures...this is the cut glass showing the various bottles I am using. The other is the finished product!
  2. Hello from Kentucky! I just joined this Forum today and have already learned tons. I am relatively new to candle making...I have been experimenting with it for about 8 months and having a blast with it. I am cutting craft beer, wine and bourbon bottles and using those as my containers. I am working towards selling these in boutique-type shops here in Kentucky. I have many questions and a little more testing before I am ready to go out with my candles. I would appreciate your patience when/if I ask too stupid of a question. LOL Thanks for providing this awesome resource of information.
  3. I am the first to admit that I am a bit of a newbie. I have been doing quite a bit of experimenting with soy wax in recycled glass containers, most of which are in the 3.5" in diameter range. I have had several that upon the first burn, the small wax pool puts the wick out within a very short time of lighting the candle. But then others using that same wick (ECO10) burn just perfectly. I cannot seem to find any rhyme or reason as to why this is happening. Is it something really simple that I am doing wrong or do you recommend just to keep experimenting until I find the perfect combination. Thank you!
