Witch hazel all the way! I've never been able to get water to work. Sometimes I will have a batch that looks amazing for hours and hours and then overnight the humidity will change in the air and bam...you've got blobs.

Go with charcoal powder. It will give you black soap in an instant and be beneficial to the soap.

I would actually play with making the C bigger and tucking herrywood closer into the space that opens in the C itself. Like an old book would with the first O in once upon a time.

I prefer my soap naked. Not a huge bag fan for packaging. The only time I cringe is when a boogery little one comes along and picks up each bar of soap and smells. Other than that...its soap. No need in my mind for germaphobia. I'd wrap in kraft paper or something & slap your label on. Then just leave one out for viewing purposes.

Maybe we should consider a drum coop??? I'll look into drum pricing. for coconut & palm.

Yep, I've been deterred to do the Madison show too. The traffic has definetly gone down over the last five years and candles are everywhere. If you do stick with it, let us know how it goes! I'd hit the Minneapolis Mart myself. They have incredible traffic!

My credit card was compromised just two weeks ago. I had a faulty charge ofover $5k for immunizations in Canada. There were also multiple charges for smaller amounts as if they were 'testing' the waters. I believe my information was stolen from a Red Box video kiosk. I've heard there's methods to download information from such sliders, but never thought it was true or would happen. Other than that...I haven't used my card for candle supplies or anything online. I think we need to be aware of everywhere it can be stolen these days. It may be time to go back to cash....

I really enjoy a solid scrub bar with incroquat right at the end of the shower. With the butters & the conditioner it allows me not to lather with lotion at the end. I have very hard water and find that it does a number even with my high olive oil content in soap.

Search on Etsy. I believe for the stamps I've found they are the best. There is a silver blank supplier out there too that has great prices/selection. I've bought supplies and haven't done diddly squat with them. I'd like to do them for gifts, but need inspirations on what to stamp too. www.beaducation.com She has great tutorials & prices too.
