elliebelle
Does anyone know any recipes on how to make a shampoo bar without using lye? I just don't have any lye on hand and I would really like to make one.....Thanks!
LuminousBoutique
There is no such thing as soap without lye... you could try making some with M&P soap but you cant make a bar of soap in the CP, HP, or any other process without it. CareBear
or you could buy detergent ingredients specifically for personal care products from a place like lotioncrafters or the herbarie.

LuminousBoutique
maybe M&P with some Castor added in (Castor adds lather) and then some tea tree oil, its great in shampoos.. really cleansing. This thread might help you as well... http://www.craftserver.com/forums/showthread.php?t=63508&highlight=shampoo+bar Found it using the search feature, and "shampoo bar" wasnt hard! There were a few more threads you could try if this doesnt give you what you need.
