maryann
Just came across this ....Bramble berry has an edible perfume http://www.brambleberry.com/limited.html (towards the middle)Berry Berry Edible Perfume: Our rendition of the famous pop singers edible perfume (Juicy), Berry Berry is comprised primarily of raspberries and blackberries, with supporting sweet notes of frosting, milk and sugar. This product is ready to sell as-is and all you need to do is put it in a roller ball container or perfume container.Ingredients: Water, Glycerin, Flavor, Aspartame, Sodium Benzoate, Citric Acid, Potassium Sorbate, FD&C Yellow #6, FD&C Red #40, FD&C Blue #1, FD&C Yellow #5OOPs should have put this under Macy's ISO recipe for edible spray. I guess we're all looking for edible something or other. HTH

cedar_lea
Did anyone try out any of these recipes? It sounds so fun! Did they get the consistancy right?
cedar_lea
I just figured I'd update this thread since I've been playing. I think I'm getting pretty close to having a fuctioning recipeThe origionalEdible Body Paint 3 tb. beeswax3 tb. coconut oil3 tb. cocoa butter1 tb. honey powder (optional)1/2 tsp. flavoring food coloring to suit...Melt the 1st 3 ingredients, stir in the honey, flavoring and color.Pour into tubes or other containers.-=-=-I have no clue how you're supposed to measure beeswax by tablespoons so I did it in 1/4 cup incriments1/4 cup beeswax loosly packed1/4 cup cocoa butter1/4 cup fractionalised coconut oil2 tbs coconut oil1 tsp honey1/4 tsp oil based candy flavoring (or to taste)oil based fd&c coloring to colorMelt beeswax & coco-butter. add remaining ingredientsl. beat with electric eggbeater until smooth and no longer waxy. place into containers. Paint-=-=-=-Opinions welcome. This is the first recipe I've worked out on my own. I think that the (shortning type) coconut oil is helping keep the color from staining the skin. I don't know enough to back up this arguement but it seems right.Do I need to add any vitamin E or preservatives?
