I saw a pic of these and they looked positively yummy. Just wondering if anyone can tell me if I have the process right before trying my hand at it. Do you scent the lotion and color the aloe gel? I would worry that scenting the aloe would make it too watery and seems to me that it would likely pick up the scent from the lotion. Not sure if it would look better with the lotion dyed or not. Would love to hear any and all opinions.

There is some good information here, you'll have to go back a few pages.

Your welcome. :)
AngieM makes some really pretty parfaits. I don't think she has reached this new board yet. But when she does she might post a pic.

Hey, that's what I am trying to make. :p I am going to only scent my lotion and color my aloe gel for the parfaits. I havne't figured out what containers to use yet so I haven't made them.
What containers are you going to use?

I was thinking about using something along these lines, http://www.wholesalesuppliesplus.com/Product.aspx?Tab=4&CatalogID=9&GroupID=550&CatalogTitle=0&CategoryID=551&CategoryName=Basic+Straight+Jar. Thought the pretty layers would show up nicely with them.

Where did you guys find the clear aloe gel? All I can find is the green and blue junk.

Check out the tanning section at Walmart or CVS.

They are:

Thanks for posting those TexasBrat :) . They are prettier and better than having to order lids separately.
